July Cat Adoption Special!

Looking for a new companion or two for your home? This July, adopt an adult cat, and The Humane Society will waive the entire adoption fee ($60) for the second cat!

On the other hand, if you'd prefer a kitten: Adopt one kitten, and we'll halve the fee to $42.50 for a second kitten adoptee! If you've been thinking about adopting a new feline friend or two, now's a great time to stop in and visit.

Can't Adopt? Then Sponsor!

"I wish I could help them all."

Do you feel that way as you browse the pets we have listed? If you can't adopt but your heart goes out to one of our pets you can sponsor them as they wait for their own family. Visit our "Available Animals" page and follow the links to our Petfinder site. Once you're there, select your favorite pet and click "Sponsor Me" on their page.

You'll need to create a Petfinder account if you don't have one already, and then log in. Your contributions are collected and distributed to our shelter by the Petfinder Foundation. We are notified monthly of the sponsorships. Once your donation is received your name will go on your chosen pets' page(s) as their sponsor. Your contribution of just $10 may enable a pet's care until a new, loving family comes along. We can't thank you enough for your support!

Dog and Cat Food Donations

We are currently in urgent need of both Pedigree wet dog food AND Purina dry kitten food. Any donations would be greatly appreciated!

We have been trying to feed our dogs a consistent diet and it has really been helping with their overall health. If you are able to donate Pedigree Small Bites Adult Dog Food, your donations will be greatly appreciated. We chose Pedigree Small Bites because both large and small breeds are able to eat this size kibble. Any size bag would help.

We are also trying to feed our cats a consistent diet so if you are able to donate Purina Complete Formula Cat Chow (the blue bag), our cats would really appreciate it! Again any size bag would help. Thank you for your support and donations!
